W.Nr.2.4816 alloy has satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700℃. The alloy can be strengthened through cold processing and is suitable for making oxidation-resistant parts that bear low loads below 1100℃.
Characteristics
● Has excellent resistance to corrosion in reducing, oxidizing, and nitriding media.
● Exhibits good stress corrosion cracking resistance at both room temperature and high temperatures.
● Has excellent resistance to corrosion from dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride gas.
● Exhibits good mechanical properties at sub-zero, room temperature, and high temperatures.
