The German alloy 2.4856 is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based high-temperature alloy with molybdenum and niobium as the main strengthening elements. 2.4856 has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, with good tensile and fatigue properties from low temperatures up to 980℃.
