Product Parameters
1. Overview of GH2909 High-Temperature Alloy
GH2909 is a Fe - Ni - Co based precipitation hardening type deformed high-temperature alloy, with a service temperature below 650℃.
2. Characteristics of GH2909 High-Temperature Alloy
(1) Mechanical Properties
It has high strength, with a tensile strength of over 1200MPa, a yield strength of over 800MPa, a ductility of over 30%, and a hardness between HRC30 - 40.
It has high resistance to thermal and cold fatigue, maintaining good performance in alternating hot and cold environments, making it suitable for component manufacturing in complex working conditions such as aerospace.
It has good creep resistance, making it less prone to deformation under sustained stress in high-temperature environments, ensuring stability during high-temperature operation.
(2) Physical Properties
It has a low thermal expansion coefficient, with a small rate of change with temperature, effectively controlling the gap size between engine components and static parts over a wide temperature cycle, reducing gas loss, saving energy, improving engine efficiency, and extending component life.
(3) Machining Properties
It has good hot working plasticity, cold forming, and welding performance, and can be processed through hot working methods such as forging, rolling, and extrusion, resulting in a smooth surface and high dimensional accuracy.
3. Chemical Composition of GH2909 High-Temperature Alloy
It mainly includes elements such as nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and aluminum, with nickel content ≥50%. The combination of these elements gives it high oxidation resistance and heat resistance.
4. Heat Treatment Process of GH2909 High-Temperature Alloy
Generally, after solution treatment and aging treatment, its strength and heat resistance can be significantly improved. For example, Treatment A: 965 - 1010℃±10℃ for 1 hour, air cooling or rapid cooling + 720℃ for 8 hours, cooling down to 620℃ at a rate of 55℃ per hour for 8 hours, air cooling; Treatment B: 965 - 1010℃±10℃ for 1 hour, air cooling or rapid cooling + 745℃ for 4 hours, cooling down to 620℃ at a rate of 55℃ per hour for 4 hours, air cooling; Treatment C: 980℃±10℃ for 1 hour, air cooling or rapid cooling + 745℃ for 4 hours, cooling down to 620℃ at a rate of 55℃ per hour for 4 hours, air cooling.
5. Supply Forms of GH2909 High-Temperature Alloy
It is mainly supplied in the market in the forms of plates, pipes, bars, and wires.
