Introduction to GH3652 High-Temperature Alloy
1. Basic Definition and Composition
GH3652 high-temperature alloy is a Ni - Cr based precipitation hardening type deformed high-temperature alloy, mainly composed of elements such as nickel, chromium, aluminum, and iron.
2. Performance Characteristics
(1) High-Temperature Performance
High-Temperature Stability: It can maintain good mechanical properties and thermal stability at high temperatures, ensuring good stability in high-temperature environments and maintaining stable mechanical properties under extreme high-temperature conditions.
High-Temperature Strength: It has high high-temperature strength, capable of withstanding large loads without deformation or fracture in high-temperature environments, maintaining high tensile strength and yield strength, suitable for working conditions under high temperature, high pressure, and high stress.
Heat Fatigue Resistance and Thermal Creep Resistance: It has good heat fatigue resistance and thermal creep resistance, allowing long-term use in high-temperature and high-stress environments without creep deformation, exhibiting excellent creep resistance, meaning it can withstand constant or gradually increasing stress at high temperatures without plastic deformation, suitable for long-term use in high-temperature environments such as aircraft engines and petrochemical equipment.
(2) Oxidation Resistance and Corrosion Resistance
Oxidation Resistance: The Al and Ti in the alloy have good oxidation resistance, making GH3652 less prone to oxidation reactions at high temperatures, allowing long-term use in high-temperature oxidation environments without oxidation corrosion, forming a stable oxide layer in high-temperature oxidation environments to protect the substrate material from oxidation damage, suitable for applications in high-temperature atmospheres, such as combustion chambers and furnaces.
Corrosion Resistance: The chromium in the alloy endows GH3652 with excellent corrosion resistance, allowing it to resist oxidation, sulfide, and salt corrosion in harsh environments, enabling long-term use in acidic and alkaline corrosive environments without corrosion.
(3) Mechanical Properties
It has good strength and ductility, making it more suitable for applications in high-strength and high-temperature environments, and also possesses good fatigue performance, fracture toughness, and other comprehensive properties.
3. Heat Treatment System
The solution treatment temperature for hot-rolled and forged bars and forgings is 1150 - 1200°C, for a duration of 40 - 60 minutes, followed by rapid cooling. The standard heat treatment systems for various varieties can refer to HB/Z140, QJ/DT01.73023, and related literature.
4. Application Fields
(1) Aerospace Field
Widely used in aircraft engines, gas turbines, spacecraft, etc., capable of withstanding high-temperature and high-pressure working environments, suitable for manufacturing components such as combustion chambers and thermal insulation plates for aircraft engines, as well as parts for rocket engines, missiles, and aircraft.
(2) Energy Field
Can be used to manufacture oil drilling equipment, nuclear reactors, high-temperature heat exchangers in nuclear power plants, boiler tubes in thermal power plants and nuclear power plants, and blades for gas turbines, to improve energy conversion efficiency and safety.
(3) Chemical Industry Field
Plays an important role in high-temperature corrosive environments in chemical equipment, furnaces, valves, etc., can be used to manufacture components for petrochemical equipment, such as reactors, heat exchangers, pipelines, and valves, and can also be used to manufacture heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant components for chemical equipment, such as ammonia synthesis units, petroleum cracking units, and sulfuric acid production units.
(4) Civil Industrial Field
Can be used to manufacture components for high-temperature devices used below 1200°C.
5. Product Types
Main products include hot-rolled and forged bars, hot-rolled plates, cold-rolled thin plates, cold-rolled strips, and forgings.
6. Usage Precautions
There is a tendency to produce cracks under alternating hot and cold conditions above 800°C.
