Alloy C-4 is widely used in the chemical, petroleum, and aerospace industries, particularly suitable for process equipment and piping systems that handle corrosive media such as strong acids, strong oxidizers, and chlorides. Typical application areas include flue gas desulfurization systems, pickling and acid regeneration plants, acetic acid and agricultural chemicals production, titanium dioxide production (chloride process), and electroplating stripping.
