Monel K-500 (N055000) is a type of Monel alloy that is widely used and has excellent overall performance as a corrosion-resistant alloy. This alloy exhibits outstanding corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas environments, as well as good corrosion resistance in hot concentrated alkaline solutions. The chemical composition of Monel K-500 (N055000) mainly consists of 30% Cu and 63% Ni, with a small amount of Fe (1%-2%). Compared to Monel 400, it also contains aluminum and titanium.

1.Overview of Monel K-500 (N05500) Monel alloy:
Monel K-500 (N05500) Monel alloy is the most widely used and versatile corrosion-resistant alloy with excellent overall performance.AlloyThis alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas media, and also has good corrosion resistance to hot concentrated alkali solutions. The chemical composition of Monel K-500 (N05500) mainly consists of 30% Cu and 63% Ni with a small amount of Fe (1%-2%), and compared to Monel 400, it contains aluminum and titanium.
Monel K-500 is suitable for working under harsh geological mining conditions with high sulfur and high wax oil layers. Since this alloy has no ductile-brittle transition temperature, it is very suitable for various low-temperature equipment. In addition to having excellent mechanical properties such as high strength, corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties, Monel K-500 also has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400. It can be used as pump shaft material.

4.Main characteristics of Monel K-500 (N05500) Monel alloy:
Monel K-500 (N05500) is a nickel-based alloy with the same corrosion resistance as Alloy 400, but with higher mechanical strength and hardness. It has good resistance to heat corrosion and long-term structural stability. It is mainly used to manufacture turbine blades and gas turbine blades for aircraft engines operating at temperatures below 750°C; used for manufacturing fasteners and springs on ships; pump and valve components in chemical equipment; and scraping blades in papermaking equipment.
